Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020

The Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020 is an industry award. It covers employers throughout Australia in the food, beverage and tobacco manufacturing industry, and their employees in the award's classifications, to the exclusion of any other modern award. The industry includes preparing, cooking, baking, blending, brewing, fermenting, preserving, filleting, freezing, processing, distilling, manufacturing and milling of food, beverage and tobacco products (including stock feed and pet food), and ancillary work such as receiving and storing ingredients, packaging, labelling, despatching, and cleaning the equipment used. It also covers on-hire employees and group training apprentices and trainees working in the industry. The award does not cover employers or employees covered by the Clerks—Private Sector Award 2020, the Fast Food Industry Award, the General Retail Industry Award 2020, the Horticulture Award 2020, the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020, the Meat Industry Award 2020, the Poultry Processing Award 2020, the Seafood Processing Award 2020 or the Wine Industry Award 2020.
