Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020

The Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 covers employers in the hospitality industry throughout Australia, and their employees classified in Schedule A—Classification Structure and Definitions. The hospitality industry includes hotels, motor inns, motels, boarding establishments, condominiums, recreational farms, guest houses, serviced apartments, caravan parks, ski lodges, holiday flats, ranches, hostels, wine bars, taverns, liquor booths, resorts, caterers, restaurants, casinos, and function areas. However, this award does not cover employers and employees in clubs, boarding schools, hospitals, orphanages, local government bodies, incidental catering services by restaurants, theme parks, in-flight catering, restaurants covered by other specific awards, certain contract services, and businesses primarily focused on petroleum sales.
