Journalists Published Media Award 2020

The Journalists Published Media Award 2020 covers employers throughout Australia in the published media industry. This includes employees engaged in journalism in its literary, artistic, and photographic branches, or in the gathering, writing, or preparing of news matter or commentaries. Covered classifications are listed in clause 11. Importantly, this award does not cover employees in positions such as editor, editor in chief, and chief of staff of metropolitan daily newspapers, or those with an annual salary greater than the Level 11 rate of pay who exercise significant editorial, artistic, or managerial control. It also excludes employers covered by the Graphic Arts, Printing and Publishing Award 2020, Broadcasting and Recorded Entertainment Award 2020, and Clerks—Private Sector Award 2020.
