Oil Refining and Manufacturing Award 2020

The Oil Refining and Manufacturing Award 2020 covers employers throughout Australia in the oil refining and manufacturing industry and their employees in the classifications listed in Schedule A—Classification Definitions. The oil refining and manufacturing industry includes activities such as refining crude oil, manufacturing and blending petroleum products like aviation fuels, bitumen, diesel, and gasoline, as well as the pipeline distribution and storage of oil or petroleum products. This award specifically excludes employees engaged in exploration and/or drilling for hydrocarbons, those working on vessels or as professional divers, employees involved in certain maintenance and servicing tasks, and those in managerial roles, among others.
